I am so glad you are here. I'm a mother to two beautiful children. My eldest was the inspiration behind The Psychologist's Child. Becoming his mother taught me more than any of my professional training to date. My highly sensitive son guided me down the gentle parenting path which has aligned so seamlessly with the theory and research that I studied and practiced throughout my Psychology career.

When I became a mother, I struggled to find parenting advice that was compatible with my understanding of child development, attachment, neuroscience, and interpersonal neurobiology.  I also struggled to find parenting advice that was sympathetic to my maternal instincts; that promoted responsive and attuned care. The Psychologist's Child was created to support other families to feel confident in their decision to parent from a place of connection, to nurture their relationship with their child, to nourish their child's neurodevelopment while navigating the challenges of infancy and early childhood. I want to share what I have learned with you.
